(Sorry in advance for the overuse of the word button)
"Following in the footsteps of our new red and white Google+ icon, the
+1 button is sporting a fresh coat of paint."
This statement is how Google described their redesigned +1 button to me in email through their Google+ Platform Preview Group.
I remember when they changed the logo and don't recall everyone crying for the old logo back. And now the plus button is red and people act like they did when Coke changed the secret recipe. What happened then? Coke changed it back. The outcry was that big.
Yes the old button was nice. It was blue just like Lamebook and Tweeter. But now it's red...like Pinterest. They're hot right???
So what. Red, blue, maybe green. Let it be red or lets bitch loud enough that they change it back to blue. But really, does it even matter?
